Refund Policy during the Guarantee Period
At Ecomonedas, we believe in a conscious economy built on transparency and mutual trust. That’s why we offer all new members a 3-month guarantee period from the date of enrollment, allowing them to decide whether they wish to continue being part of the ecosystem.

If your application is approved, you’ll enjoy a 3-month guarantee period from the moment you pay your membership fee. During this time, you may cancel your membership and request either a full or proportional refund of your annual fee, depending on how many of the Ecomonedas you received have already been used.
A real guarantee
If you decide that Ecomonedas isn’t for you, simply return any unused Ecomonedas and you’ll get back the full or proportional value of your membership fee, based on the amount of Ecomonedas you have already spent.
Examples of proportional refunds
Example 1 – Standard Member

Extended Refund Policy
If a new member decides to leave the ecosystem within the guarantee period, the refund is calculated only on the Ecomonedas originally delivered at enrollment as part of the annual fee.
If the member has accumulated additional Ecomonedas during this time —for example, by offering services and receiving payments in EC— those extra Ecomonedas are not eligible for refund, since they represent income generated within the ecosystem, not part of the initial investment.
The refund amount is calculated solely on the Ecomonedas received upon enrollment, and the percentage of them that have been used.
Evaluation by the Founding Community
If the Board of Directors and founding members decide to revoke a new member’s subscription during the guarantee period —whether for misalignment with the project’s values or for community reasons— the member will still receive either a full or proportional refund of their enrollment fee, depending on the number of Ecomonedas used.
Additionally, they will have up to 30 days to spend or exchange any accumulated Ecomonedas (those earned later by offering services within the community). During this time, they may trade those Ecomonedas freely with other active members. After the 30-day period, their membership in the Ecomonedas network will be formally terminated.

The guarantee applies only within the first 3 months from the date of payment.

It is valid for both voluntary cancellations and membership revocations decided by the founding community.

Full return of unused Ecomonedas is required.

Refunds are calculated based on the percentage of Ecomonedas delivered at enrollment that have been used.

If the member has accumulated more EC than they initially received, no additional refund applies.
