🟢 Code of Conduct and Guidelines for the Use of Ecomonedas
(Annex to the Internal Regulations – Ecomonedas Association)
To preserve the meaning, quality, and dignity of the symbolic exchange system among members of the Ecomonedas Association, the following behavioral guidelines are established:
1. Symbolic Equivalence and Value Recognition
Ecomonedas (EC) represent a symbolic value equivalent to the euro within the Association’s ecosystem.
👉 1 EC = 1 € (internal reference value)
This value is not convertible into official currency, but it reflects an ethical agreement between individuals exchanging goods and services with the same professionalism, dedication, and respect as in a monetary transaction.
2. Guaranteed Quality
Members of the Ecomonedas Association are selected based on their ethical commitment, professionalism, and track record, having completed an admission process.
Access to the network is therefore a mark of quality: receiving a service in Ecomonedas does not imply a decrease in quality. On the contrary, it represents mutual trust in a more human and fair economy.
3. Mutual Respect and Commitment
Every exchange using Ecomonedas must maintain the same level of commitment, reliability, punctuality, and excellence as a service paid in euros.
Members agree to:
-
Offer services with full dedication and professionalism.
-
Not devalue or undermine payment in Ecomonedas.
-
Not exchange Ecomonedas for euros or negotiate their cash value.
-
Report any dishonest behavior or actions that harm the shared trust system.
4. Limited and Controlled Issuance
To preserve the symbolic value of Ecomonedas and avoid excessive circulation that could destabilize the system:
-
The maximum number of Ecomonedas in circulation will be 20,000 EC per calendar year.
-
This issuance will be managed exclusively by the Board of Directors or a designated economic committee, based on criteria of sustainability and fairness.
-
Extraordinary issuance will require approval by the General Assembly.
5. Selection and Admission
Admission as a member is subject to evaluation by the preferred members and the Board of Directors, based on:
-
Professional background, service proposals, ethics, and alignment with the values of the network.
-
Any justified objections raised by other members during the review period (see Internal Regulations).
Not being admitted as a member does not imply personal judgment, but reflects a commitment to the quality and integrity of the ecosystem.
6. Sanctions for Misuse
Abusive, dishonest, or degrading use of Ecomonedas may result in:
-
A formal warning.
-
Temporary suspension from participating in exchanges.
-
Ultimately, expulsion from the Association by decision of the General Assembly.
